6 Day Mt Kenya Climb: Sirimon – Naromoru Route

6 Day Mt Kenya Climb: Sirimon – Naromoru Route

The western ascent of Mount Kenya is renowned for being the steepest and quickest route to reach the summit. While it may not offer remarkable scenic views, it boasts excellent tourist accommodations.

Typically, climbers commence their journey at the park gate, although it is also feasible to drive a vehicle up to the Met station, situated at an elevation of 3050 meters. This route presents challenges such as navigating a vertical bog and ascending an exceptionally steep trail with loose gravel.
